K-TEK Company was founded in 1975. The Company is situated in Los Angeles, the USA, and currently is a part of ABB Company. K-TEK Company concentrates its engineering, production and applied impressions exceptionally in the fields of level measurement.
K-TEK Company output is used all over the world in such branches of industry as chemical processing, oil and gas extraction, power engineering, pulp and paper industry, mining and construction industries, food and beverage production, plastic production.
The Company suggests radar waveguide level gages, magnetic level gages, magnetostrictive level gages, laser level gages, servo level gages, ultrasonic level gages, pressure relay, differential pressure relay, temperature relay, as well as different types of indicators (signaling devices) to the proposed level gages.
Company history.
1975. K-TEK was founded. The first Company in the USA which started magnetic noninteraction level gages production (КМ26).
1993. K-TEK announced MS50 multipoint level indicator.
1994. AccuTrak™ magnetostrictive level transducer production started to use together with КМ26.
1994. K-TEK started VECTOR™ (VF30 vibration type indicator) production.
1995. K-TEK manufactured first LS20 floating indicators.
1997. K-TEK announced about MS10 indicator production.
1998. K-TEK bought Flow & Level Controls Company, which manufactured termodifferential indicators (series TX – flow, level and temperature indicators).
1999. K-TEK realized new technology of liquid and friable materials level measurement – waveguide radars.
1999. K-TEK announced about LaserM Technologies Company buying in Johannesburg, South Africa, and began realization of LM02 and LM4C series level gages at the market. KTEK Company became the first in the USA which proposed laser level gages for industry.
1999. K-TEK bought ASI Instruments Company in Houston, Texas to create the full line of capacitive level gages and level indicators.
2001. K-TEK realized cheap РЧ A38 capacitive level gage.
2002. K-TEK developed the manufacture of cheap (KVIEW™) controller for the level measurement devices.
2002. K-TEK suggests new line of products for friable substances (KP – indicators on the basis of motor current exceeding, SF50 – vibration type indicators, SF60 – indicators of deposit level in liquid, SS50 – SureShot™ laser level gage, KB – electromechanical, follower type).
2003. K-TEK developed the manufacture of wide range of KSONIK™ ultrasonic level gages.
