AMOT was founded in 1948 in Richmond, California state, the USA. The headquarters of the company is in Houston, the USA. The company is a 100% subsidiary of Roper Industries Inc. In 2007 AMOT Group expanded when acquired Roda Deaco Valve Company (Canada) and in 2008 - Chalwyn Company (Great Britain). After joining of these two product lines, AMOT has become a leading manufacturer of the safety shutdown systems for diesel engines in the world.
AMOT Company offers a wide range of instrumentation: temperature relays and switches, pressure switches, transverse and longitudinal mechanical vibration; control and signaling units for metallic particle detecting in the oil systems of diesel engines, hydraulics and turbines; manufactures intake/shutoff gas valves, temperature control valves, cut-off valves, fuel valves and others. AMOT develops emergency shutdown systems and units for diesel engines and other equipment with rotating components at overheating, pressure drop, excessive vibration and so on. For software and automation systems AMOT offers automatic serial controllers, software package controllers; automatic control systems for hazardous areas and other control and adjustment instru-mentation.
