Crouse-Hinds Company

The Crouse-Hinds Company was founded in the beginning of the 1920s. The Company main office is situated in New York, the USA. The Company offers complex product lines for light and heavy industries - fittings, casings, equipment for industrial signal control and signalling devices, industrial lighting with plugs, and safe equipment containers for explosion hazard zones and corrosive environment, as well as commercial products for up-to-date construction.

The Company manufactures:

Explosion-proof electric equipment. Ex-equipment output range includes explosion-proof lighting fixtures for fluorescent lamps, incandescent lamps, gas-discharge lamps, portable lanterns, searchlights. Besides, the Company manufactures and supplies explosion-proof junction boxes made of GRP, plastic, stainless steel and aluminum alloy, control posts and panels, explosion-proof cable inlets. Explosion-proof electric service panels are marked out in separate product line, namely: lighting switchboards, control switchboards, distribution switchboards, manufactured both in standard and custom-made versions. The Company manufactures and supplies explosion-proof switches, power switches, electric engines protective automatons, emergency switches. Product range is supplemented by explosion-proof signal apparatus, namely: light annunciators, tone sirens, loudspeakers, heat annunciators. Product line also includes MTL spark barriers.

Fire detection systems. Cooper Crouse-Hinds fire detection systems include addressed-analogue and zero-address fire alarm systems. They are widely used inside buildings, educational establishments, hostels, offices and marts, museums, stadiums, sports palaces, as well as in residential districts.

Warning systems. Cooper Crouse-Hinds voice announcing systems are used both inside and outside the buildings. They may be wire and wireless and widely used:

  • in industry and at big enterprises;
  • in fire detection systems inside buildings, educational establishments, hostels, offices and marts;
  • to execute civil defense and emergency situations measures;
  • for military purposes.

Guard systems. Cooper Crouse-Hinds guard systems include access control, passing protection, computer systems protection equipment.
